I’m reading the “Greatness Guide: 101 lessons for making what’s good at work and in life even better” by Robin Sharma. It is such a pick me up read! I’ve been reading it every night before I go to bed and I’ve been waking up ready to face the challenges of each day.
I just ordered a few of Robin’s other books on Amazon. “The Monk who Sold his Ferrari” and “The Saint, The Surfer, and the CEO” Really looking forward to reading his other books!

I’ve become an all Apple household! Last week my trusty PC laptop blew up. Poor thing. The screen blacked out and had a hard drive malfunction.
I’ve always wanted to be a Mac user, so I visited my local Apple store. Not even 15 minutes later, I was walking out of the store with everything that I needed for my new MacBook! I’ve spent the weekend trying to absorb all of this information and become user saavy. I have a ways to go!! Let me know if you have any helpful tips to share!

I’m a proud new parent to Bianca – a stunning little girl! She was delivered on Thursday, January 22nd at 1:38 in the afternoon. She was born a healthy 4.5 inches and weighing in at 4.7 ounces. Everyone is healthy and doing well.
Bianca is simply gorgeous and I don’t know how I lived life with out her!

So, I consider myself a huge James Morrison fan. I traveled ALL the way to NYC to see him play. I listen to James on a fairly regular basis. I heart his voice. Well…I had no idea he would be in Minneapolis today!!
I found this all out on Sunday night. Went onto trusty Craigslist and posted for tickets to the show tonight. Monday morning, I get a response from a 23 year old young boy. He won Cities 97 Studio C tickets. Would I like to go with him? WHAT….this can’t be real!
I think it over – public place – a stranger – from Craigslist – hear James Morrison LIVE – possibly even meet him….ummm, hell yes!!! So I reply, “Where and When, count me in!!”
The young 23 year old boy luckily turned out to be a normal sweet guy! James played today in a small studio. There were about 30 people. I sat 5 feet away from him! James played 3 songs – 2 from his new album, answered a few questions, and then did a meet and greet. I shook his hand, gushed a little bit about how great he is and how I saw him play in NYC…and then we got a photo with JAMES!!!
It was such an amazing blur. I had chills the entire time! Thank you Thank you Martin for this great day!!

I went to The Killers show at Northrop last night! Met up with some friends at the Kitty Kat Club. Such a cool, laid back bar in Dinkytown. We had so much fun that we missed the opening band who I guess I don’t even know who it was. The Killers new album is still growing on me…but they put on a great show!
My friend Peter is going to see them at Madison Square Garden on Sunday. That would be an amazing show! Have fun Zoob!

it is -20 degrees here in minneapolis today. not the windchill, but the actual temp. these are the types of temps that welcomed me home from mexico (pixs to be uploaded soon!) here are a few things that i am doing to stay warm….

mapping out what movies i want to see – there are so many – revolutionary road, seven lbs, slumdog millionaire…there is nothing better than cozing up in a dark movie theatre on a cold day!
hope everyone else is keeping warm!!
I logged onto Olivia4president this morning to see that my hits had skyrocketed. The majority of the hits were from Alphainventions.com. A really cool blog that somehow uploads other blogs as they are updated in real time. I think that is how it works…..check it out
