Primp for NYE December 31, 2008

Here are my beauty favorites that I will be using to primp for my NYE party!

 

Moroccan Oil – a little dab on damp hair smooths out any hair type – say goodbye to flat irons.  I LOVE this stuff!

 

Diane Mesh Rollers and Diane Duck Bill Clips – as seen in the December issue of Vogue – these Italian made rollers are the best in the industry! Since I’ve started using them everyone comments on how nice my hair looks.

 

Clairns Liquid Bronze Self Tanner – Gives a natural looking glow -  I use on my face, neck and chest.  Gives your self esteem a little lift in the dead of winter!

 

Essie Sugar Daddy Nail Polish – This will always be my all time favorite – a sophicated light sheer pink

Taking a Deep Breath December 19, 2008

I’ve been complaning about my work life balance lately.  Well, this week is the Target Tree and Green Good CLR.  All of our hard work comes down to one week!!  We were awarded 2009 business today. 

Due to the economy and Target Seasonal sales being at an all time low, we were prepared for the worst.  Overall, it was a good day for us!  We can all take a deep breath and TAKE A FULL WEEK OFF OF WORK!!!!

I fly out to Taos tomorrow with my Dad!  8 days of relaxation!  Really really looking forward to the holidays this year.

So far I’ve purchased a Lauren Merkin clutch handbag and a Catherine Maladrino dress.  I fought tooth and nail for the dress!  Someone had it in their shopping cart for way too long.  My persistance paid off and I finally have a dress for Carrie and Did’s wedding in Mexico!!  Let’s just hope it fits!!!

I sent out holiday cards this week – pictures of my fun travels this year!  One of my friends called to tell me that she loved my card.  She told me that I am the perfect example of how a single girl in the city should be!  That I love my life, have great friends, take cool trips, have built a successful career, and take care of myself.   NOW…WHO NEEDS a boy, but seriously, where IS HE??

I’ve never laughed harder!  I love my friends!

Check out People’s Style Watch – top 25 gifts under $50….This is an item from a program that I developed for Target’s John Derian Holiday endcap.  I spent months working on the placement of the artwork, the exact color of glitter inside the globe, the design of the wood base, and making sure the water passed the non-toxic tests!!  Check out the entire endcap at your local Target store!

Wicked Wednesday December 3, 2008

Going to see Wicked tonight!  I’ve never seen it so I’m pretty excited!  Helps break up the 90 some hours I’ve already worked this week.  Christmas vacation is right around the corner!!!!  I hope to survive.

Turkey Weekend – CA 2008 December 1, 2008

I’m kind of throwing it out there that this is the LAST winter I’m living through.  Visiting the kiddies in CA for Turkey weekend and it was sunny and 80 degrees.  There is just no logic that I choose to live in the tundra when there are bright blue skies calling my name.  Just throwing it out there.

Of course the kiddies were so much fun!  I can’t wait to see them again during Christmas.

 

Twilight Mania Continues December 1, 2008

Just started the last book in the “Twilight” series and it is by far my favorite!  The mania continues as I just ordered myself a Cullen Crest T-shirt on Ebay.  I thought that a little more grown up than the Team Edward T-shirts!!
