have you ever had work feelings? you know a work crush? it is a person at your place of employment, who you would never want to have a relationship with, but crush on them everyday at work. it is harmless and very entertaining. makes coming to work just a little bit better!
my recent work feelings was a college intern who sadly went back to school a couple of weeks ago (i do like the young ones). i am happy to announce that my new work feelings walked promptly into my life this monday!
the last couple of crazy weeks around here just seemed to disappear!!!

focusing on getting thru this week. sigh. i hate to complain, but work has been brutal lately. missed a cottage weekend in wi to work this weekend.
did make lisa and scott’s baby shower at patrick’s on saturday. another late night, hanging out, having fun.
jill is coming to town on friday. just booked my ticket to watch her run the chicago marathon in oct. i love saying that….to watch her run!! no more marathons for me.
i’m kind of in denial that summer is almost over. labor day is quickly approaching. i’m headed to taos for some rest and relaxation. spa, pilates, hiking, good eats, and hanging with the family. i’m counting the minutes!

weekend August 20, 2007
i finally spent a weekend at home! i didn’t go to glamorama this year…for numerous reasons. i was a bit blue on friday night when i was driving to meet friends for dinner instead of pulling out my cowboy boots. i missed the mechanical bull…which is probably a good thing. count me in for next year’s event.
saturday, i got my fat arse back to the gym. it felt good to be back. many of the front deskers exclaimed that they missed me! it felt good to be missed, until i got my fat arse whipped in spin class. oh, i’m out of shape.
visited allen for an overdue haircut. after he styled my hair, he started laughing and said it was a porn star style!! not really the look i was going for. it accomplished something though…had a fabulous time at an afternoon turned into late night bbq. 3 am and attempting to do the worm is how the night ended!
sunday scheduled to be at a work picnic and softball game. hardcore softball game. sales v.s. marketing. there were scheduled practices and everything! personalized jerseys. the works. lucky for me it was rained out. while southern minnesota was under major flooding, i pretty much slept the rest of my day away. super productive.
back at work today. the last few weeks have been insane. i’m trying to better maintain my stress levels. hoping for a better work week!
i’m out. hoping everyone survived the weekend.

Leaving for LA today. Part fun, Part Work. Work has been crazy busy for me and it’s a bad time to be leaving again, but what can you do. Hanging with my sister tomorrow, relax and spa day. Meeting with two vendors on Friday and staying in LA with my friend Keek. Playing with the kiddies the rest of the weekend. I can’t wait to see them!
Black and White Dress August 6, 2007
according to my pixs posted here, it looks like i live in that black and white dress. i hadn’t worn it since arleen’s wedding in june…almost burned it after that weekend! ha! but, i pulled it out this month, for a few more wears before the summer is over.
