i fly out tomorrow to my fav city…NYC! quick trip for a black tie gala! one of our partners that we donate money from our women’s golf program is having the event at the rainbow room. i have never been there and am pretty excited. we are going to get our hair “blown out” for the special ocassion! hopefully, i will get to see some of my friends, but it will probably have to wait until my next trip at the end of july!
i’m back from my trip to hong kong, shenzhen, qingdao and numerous other small cities in china. it was an amazing learning trip. still to this day, i feel really sad seeing the life that a factory worker lives. it makes me appreicate everything that i have and reminds me not to take anything for granted. the pixs are from some of my golf factories. really cool to see how golf gloves, divot tools, headcovers, and every other type of golf accessory is made!
we did have some fun at delicious dinners, a karaoke bar where i got to pick out the women escorts for the night and even got my own boy escort (poor thing, he was normally a bartender), shopping at a mall of america like place full of fake products, traveling too many hours driving on the chinese highways, flying in airplanes, and riding trains (planes, trains, and automobiles). i even went to a wal-mart super center in shenzhen and was very surprised at the grocery selection. all in all, an amazing experience!
i must admit though, i am very happy to be home sweet home!
julie and bp’s wedding weekend was all around absolute perfection! everything was unbelieveably amazing in every possible aspect. they are off to mexico for their honeymoon…even without bp’s passport!
it was so fun to see everyone at the wedding. i haven’t seen EJ, Knutty, or Kylo in forever. had a “small” melt down saturday night due to lack of sleep and too much petron…kind of embarassing, but i guess things happen to the best of us!
my body is in shut down mode. i probably got 8 hrs of sleep the entire weekend and am exhaust today. headed to the fray concert tonight. my bday tomorrow. having a joint hh with a friend who is 10 years younger than i am, yes, i can still hang with the youngins! need to pack for my china trip. fly out wednesday. i actually am really looking forward to the 16 hr flight to SLEEP……..
